That devastating moment where Jack starts to get desperate at the thought of losing Ianto.
:-( It’s heart-breaking watching Jack plead w/ the 456, so desperate and forlorn, willing to do anything including saying ‘to hell with the world right now, just don’t take him from me!’.. gawd i am a wreck through this scene.
Me too. Its devistating to watch because even though you saw Jack’s feelings before this moment, I think this is the moment where it became 100% clear that Jack was in love with Ianto. He was begging and pleading with the 456 to spare him and he didnt care that people were watching. Jack’s so opened and vulnerable in this scene and it breaks my heart.
yea that did it … crying right now ..was already in tears after my inability to tear my eyes from a GIF of them kissing in Jack’s office, and missing that, and now reading ur response and the fact that i agree completely w/ what u said pushed me over the edge there. hope no one can hear my sobs.
You know what vexes me? When people bitch about the Ianto memorial at Mermaid Quay or mock fans for it. People are allowed to express their fondness for a fictional character. Hell, they are even allowed to grieve. It doesn’t make them unhinged or weird or worse than you. I think it’s a nice monument to how much people loved the character – and even classic Torchwood, considering the banner across the top reads “We want Torchwood Cardiff.”
Yes, we do. And fandom can be divisive enough without people being so judgmental. It’s a nice gesture and it doesn’t hurt anyone or anything. Don’t like the memorial? Don’t visit it or contribute or think about it. But don’t shame people that appreciate it.

I didn’t even read this list. I just love that CoE day four is the first thing listed. The irony here is that I really got into Glee to get over my nagging sadness from Torchwood feels.
