See, this is why I don’t understand the Schue hate. He can’t help it that he’s written so creepy.

He can get annoying with his constant strive to win. And not to mention tried to change his girlfriend. Acted like her OCD was a burden to him, and that’s rather ableist.

Oh, his entire love life is a disaster, but to me that’s part of his character’s “charm.” He’s so perfectly imperfect. He’s tragically flawed, and I like that about him. I especially like when his flaws get pointed out by Emma and she puts him in his place. Ultimately, I think that’s why their relationship works. She shut down his “I will try to fix you” business with her “this is who I am, WITH my issues. Love me for who I am or I’m out” speech. And when she got tenure over him and he ate crow about the brochures.

But yeah….he’s a douche sometimes…and creepy. But I kind of like that in a twisted sort of way.
